All guests are responsible for their own safety. To help make your trip a great one, please consider these items before your trip!
Dress for cold weather. The temperature on the lake is typically a few degrees colder than the general forecast. Wind can pick up unexpectedly.
Guests are responsible for their own mobility. In the case of an emergency, guests must be reasonably able to physically react by evacuating or as otherwise necessary.
Ice conditions are monitored regularly, but can be unpredictable at times. “Laser” noises and ice heaves can be expected and are not generally considered dangerous.

A. We pride ourselves on sharing our family’s favorite fishing spots with you, our guests. The fish don’t always listen, but we do our best to place you where we believe you’ll have a successful fishing adventure.
Q. What kind of bait & tackle should I use?
A. The best bait and tackle varies throughout the season, but Swedish Pimple hooks, minnows, and giant mealworms are our favorites!
Q. Will you move my shack if I’m not catching any fish?
A. No, the shack is in position for the duration of your stay. We always do our best to place you where we believe you will have the best chances of a successful fishing adventure. It’s all in the wrist!
